How we make money
SupplementLab.org is reader-supported. When you click a link to a product we've reviewed and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer or brand. This costs you nothing extra — prices are the same whether you buy through our link or go directly to the seller.
This applies to every outbound product link on the site, including links to brands we rank #1 and brands we rank last. Commission arrangements never determine which product wins a comparison; our scoring rubric does that.

We think this is the kind of thing you'd want to know before trusting a "#1 pick," so we're not burying it in fine print: yes, we can earn affiliate revenue from our own brand's products the same way we can from any competitor's, and yes, that's a conflict of interest worth naming out loud. Our answer to it is process, not denial — the same rubric, the same published cons, the same editorial sign-off described in our Editorial Policy, applied without exception.
What this doesn't change
- Scores are set by our editorial rubric, not by commission rates.
- We list cons for every product, including ones we own.
- We link to competing products even when our own commission would be lower.
